Your mission?

You will provide QA support to Solution Architects: you will analyze web applications across layers, and plan how to test those applications in coordination with engineers from client companies. You will engage in exploratory testing, test planning and developing and maintaining automated tests used in the build cycle. You will act as the initial user of new product features to ensure their usability and stability before they are released as well as ensuring older features remain functional and are not inadvertently affected by new features in unwarranted or unexpected ways. You will provide specific feedback to R&D teams in the form of bug reports and feature requests as well as more informally through planning and status meetings.

You will be in charge of…

Regular communication (English) with Solution Architect and developers (HCMC, Da Nang, Prague/Czechia and US) to make sure that the business requirements are well understood and well implemented (this includes clarifying and documenting changes, assistance with integration and acceptance tests, tuning test environment architecture etc.
Deploying applications to be tested in the cloud
Preparing and executing tests
Developing Cypress automation tests
Participating in test execution and test documentation
Evaluating particular test types
Helping to prepare/provide training
Overall testing quality on a project

… All while participating in product development using agile methodologies.

What should you have to succeed?

To achieve all this, you need to be patient yet pro-active, gracious yet confident, independent yet cooperative…but mainly eager for challenges because both your soft-skills and technical knowledge will be truly tested in RnD4U!

Fluent English for day to day communications with colleagues abroad and clients
Some experience with test automation (cypress.io a plus)
Ability to analyze requirements to define test-cases
At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
Systematic and thoroughgoing
Logical thinking and ability to act independently
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
ISTQB methodology knowledge
Experience with programming (especially in javascript/typescript with nodejs would be a plus)
Experience with Linux
Experience with InfluxDB (influxdata.com) would be a big plus
Experience with Docker/Kubernetes would be a plus
Read and write XML/CSV/JSON knowledge would be a plus
